This is a site my team created for our senior project at Cal Poly Pomona. We were given an assignment to create an online crime reporting tool for a research program at Claremont Graduate University. The catch to this project was that it must allow the user to input a narrative into the application and we had to pull out the important information. For example, a user
witnesses a robbery and reports "I saw a tall man wearing a blue shirt and red shoes break into a house". We would need to pull out "blue shirt", "red shoes", "tall" and "man" as features and characteristics for our database. We accomplished this using Java classes with a Flex frontend to stray from refreshing the page at each step. We also built a statistics portion to the site
which reports and graphs crimes in a given area or zip code.

This is a project my team created for the Cal Poly Pomona 2007 IT Competition. We were given three weeks to
complete a "Personalized Hompage" similar to
Page Flakes to feed content to the user. We chose to use
a Flex frontend with a Coldfusion backend. The content consists of RSS Feeds of the user's choice, weather and horoscopes. After registration, the
user logs in and is shown weather and horoscopes based on their zip code and birthday at registration. This was a rough competition, as my team had many
other obligations come up right as we were given the requirements. I was changing divisions at work and both of my team members were in the process of
moving. It took an all nighter on the last night, but we finished it. Although we got 1st place jacked from us because we didn't have proper documentation, it was
a good experience for all of us. Good job guys! :)

This was the first Flash website I made for my old domain, GetKyleDodge.com. It was a good learning experience to test
dynamically loading images and videos within the flash player, as well as your simple tweens and animations.

I developed this site for my uncle's pool business, Trinity Pools and Spas. It was originally for a class project at Cal Poly Pomona, and
after the class I developed it further into a site he could use. There is also a small CMS built with Coldfusion on the backend used for uploading and displaying
photos of new pools designed and built by the company.

This site was created for Mrs. Lauri Harrison, a second grade teacher at Chaparral Elementary school in Claremont, California. This was done in collaboration with
Cal Poly Pomona as part of the service-learning community project. It was created to bridge the "digital divide" gap that exists between kids and their parents and provide
information to the parents that may be accessed at any time.
